On-Going Opportunities:  

• Drivers for rides to appointments and errands, grocery shopping assistance, light housekeeping, respite care, friendly visits, seasonal projects for yards and gardens, etc.  Also see our listings on the United Way of  West Central MN (Volunteer tab) website.

New Opportunities:

• Volunteer Exercise Instructor -"Bone Builders Exercise Program" for seniors: Willmar, (One time per week/usually Tuesdays-sometimes Thursdays), 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Willmar City Auditorium.  Complete a volunteer application (above). Course outline provided/Augustana RSVP Osteoporosis Exercise Program.  Equipment provided. Training provided. Could team teach or lead on your own.

•  Light housekeeping volunteer needed, once every two weeks.

•   Needed:  Someone to insert wall fasteners so window treatments and wall decor/wall clocks  may be hung.

• In-home exercise routine, for 90 yr old female.  SE Willmar, afternoons (not Thurs.)/1 hr per week.

Special Arrangement Opportunities:
 

• Long distrance rides to medical appointments in St. Cloud or the Twin Cities area.  Some expenses covered. (Needed: Driver on Thursday, October 21, to U. of M Minneapolis campus, for 10:45 a.m. appointment.)
